Pepeha

This term we are starting to learn the pepeha for our area that we live in.  We will be looking at standing in front of our class and saying the pepeha.  We will also look into finding out the key information needed for our own personal pepeha. It is a great opportunity for us to practise our pronunciation of Te Reo Māori and to also build our confidence in standing in front of people to speak.  We will be using our pepeha in handwriting to help us memorise it and our class just got a floor mat that will also help us on our journey too.  Keep up-to-date with our blog so that you can watch as my kids put their best foot forward in learning a pepeha.
