Tongan Language flag raising ceremony

Monday was the beginning of Tongan Language week.  At Rowandale School we take pride in having the Tongan flag flying in the wind above us.

The theme for Tongan Language week for 2018 is "Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e 'ofa fonua - Enrich Aotearoa with the love of duty and service to the country, community and people"

#Whakapono21 were lucky enough to have two representatives from our class speaking at the Tongan Language flag raising ceremony.  They were Peni Kautai and Lupe McDonald.  As a class we were very proud of them!
